TERMS OF SALES
At InSTYLE Home & Rugs, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction is our priority. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment.
Upon receipt, please be sure to account for each Items. You are responsible for examining all merchandise upon receipt to determine of damage has occurred in transit or of any cartons are missing. All claims for shortages and/or damage must be photographed in the presence of the carrier and reported to InSTYLE Home & Rugs within 48 hours of delivery.
It is customer's sole responsibility to measure the furniture and make sure that it will pass through doors, tight corners, staircase height and width to go to basement or second floor and fit his/her intended space.
No refunds. Exchange for store credit less 20% re-stocking fees only within 7 days of purchase.Items must be new, in their original packaging and sellable condition.
Floor model samples are final sale with no warranty and cannot be returned or exchanged.
No refunds or exchange on custom orders or on orders which have been brought in from out of town or country where extra freight charges have been incurred.
Estimated dates of arrival are tentative and cannot be used as a reason for cancellation. ETA's are estimated times of arrival and are subject to change without notice. Invoice or receipt must be presented as proof of purchase. Special, custom & made to order sales are final sale, and can not be returned or exchanged.
If your ordered items are new, whether picked up or not and you don't like it or doesn't fit it's original intended space, you may return them to us within 7 days of purchased date of receipt for a store credit less a 20% restocking/handling fee and customer will be responsible for both inbound and outbound shipping charges. Items must be returned in the original packaging. If the reason for the return is a result of our error or the item is defective, we will gladly pay for the return shipping. If the reason for the return is due to your dissatisfaction we will work with you to resolve the issue. We cannot accept returns on customized, personalized, Final Sale or Special Order items or on items damaged through normal wear and tear.
Once a product has been put together, assembled or installed, No refunds will be given.
If the product is defective we will gladly exchange the product or the part.
Product return shipping and re-shipping costs will be born by the customer if the customer ordered incorrectly.
CANCELLATION OF OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
Within 24 hours you may cancel or modify your order. If the order has already been processed by our order and shipping department or by the manufacturer, it is not possible to cancel or modify the order.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
All our products are covered with one year of manufacturer's warranty from date of purchase against defects except normal wear and tear.
"This warranty is for residential use only and does not cover usage in a commercial environment."
InStyle Home & Rugs is not responsible for damages incurred during storage or transit. At the time of pick up, the carrier will sign our delivery form, acknowledging that the merchandise being transported has been received in good condition. Upon receipt, all shipments should be carefully inspected by the purchaser prior to being accepted from the carrier, as our liability ends when the carrier signs our delivery slip at the time of pick up.
The purchaser is solely responsible for claiming damages from the carrier for any and all occurrences and types of damage that are incurred during the transport of goods. Claims for damages should be filed with the carrier immediately. All instances of mistakes, flaws, or insufficient parts must be reported to in a written statement within three (3) calendar days of delivery to the purchaser. After three (3) days, the delivered goods will be considered accepted and all claims of mistakes, flaws, or insufficient parts will be relinquished.
This is extremely important if items are not to be installed or used immediately or If you are working with a designer or contractor, please have them inspect items upon their arrival, and not upon installation. We ask that you inspect the packaging and items immediately upon receipt and indicate on the packaging and/or paperwork from the freight or shipping company that delivered if there is any visible damage.
For returning items please contact Customer Service and obtain a RM# (Return Merchandise Number) and mark it on the item at our toll free number 1-866-799-7847 Monday to Friday 11:00am – 5:00pm (Eastern Time). Items returned to us without Return Merchandise Number will be refused acceptance.
